A really great spot, the hosts were so kind and they’ve put so much work into making the place fun and welcoming. Wish I had stayed longer and would definitely come back!

What a magically, beautiful location! Herman Lake looked and felt like a nature preserve, housing an abundant and healthy ecosystem. This land is home to moose, owls, beavers, loons, turtles, frogs and even fireflies!

The sites are situated among the trees, offering privacy and shade. They have large sites for groups, individual sites for trailers/tents, glamping tents by the water, a sauna and water activities available for rent (canoe, paddle board and paddle boat).

Caitlin was lovely and very accommodating for our last minute trip. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot and the lake is gorgeous very nice dip to cool off. Caitlin was so nice and accommodating allowing me to switch site because my vehicle is kinda big.

We really enjoyed our campsite!! Lots of animal sounds, and we spotted a chipmunk or two, lots of huge dragonflies, and some bats as evening was falling!!

Only downside was lots of mosquitoes and flies, but that close to a lake, what else can you expect!

Gorgeous, quiet spot and very kind hosts. Lots of wildlife, great place for bird watching.

We enjoyed our night here, it was very quiet and peaceful. We took the canoe out on the lake and went swimming, the water was perfect. We even saw fireflies after dark! Directions were clear and it was easy to find, would stay here again!

Such a cute and serene spot! The campsites are surrounded by trees. We saw beavers, snakes and fireflies. The hosts were incredibly friendly, the campsite and outhouses were well equipped with little sinks and very well maintained. Great place for a quick little getaway!

We loved the nature and wilderness of Caitlin’s land. The lake is beautiful and the water perfect for a refreshing swim after the rough road (dusty gravel) there. There‘s plenty of wildlife, we saw many turtles and ducks. The campsite was pretty private, as there were bushes and trees around it. We recommend renting the paddleboat – we had so much fun!

We had a wonderful two nights at Site 2. This is a very special place full of wildlife and the hosts are top notch. We are impressed by their stewardship of the land and wildlife and will be back again. We found two critter treasures and left them by the dino for your littles to find. Thanks for everything!

I grew up on ivy road and was eager to show my friends the beauty. Direct quote from our group “im seeing BC for the first time all over again.” Everyone will be returning. Spent 3 nights on site 2 and it was absolutely perfect. Tip: take the eagle bay route up to the site if you want to avoid some backroading.

My partner and I stayed in one of the glamping tents over the past long weekend. It was absolutely magical. The bed is very comfortable, lots of room to walk around inside and hide from the rain if it comes.

The sauna was incredible and the cold plunge / lake was absolutely perfect to dip in.

We had the wood fire pizza made perfectly from the owners. Keith and Caitlin are excellent hosts and enjoy taking us around the walking trails and seeing the sheep.

We are shifting our family reunion to this location to utilize their very large very warm feeling venue chalet hall.

All in all 10/10.
