- Check in: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM (early or late check-in may be available)
- Check out: Before 12:00 PM (noon)
- On arrival: Head straight to site unless otherwise specified
Cancellation Policy
Hipcamp ‘Strict’: If you cancel at least 1 week before your check in day and time, you’ll receive a full refund (minus Hipcamp fees). If you cancel within the 1 week before check in, there will be no refund.

Site #10: Peek-a-boo lake view

Site 10 is a small grassy campsite that is perfect for a tent for two. It has a peek-a-boo view of the lake and is close to one of our communal campfires, and the playground. Guests have access to an outhouse close by and water from a spigot.

Site #2: “Group Therapy” w/lake view
From $60/night | Sleeps 8 | Min 1 night
Bring your friends or family and set up on this amazing grassy off-grid group campsite on the outskirts of Herman lake with room for a few tents and/or an RV. There is a 7 foot picnic bench with an outhouse nearby, and non-potable water access for washing dishes. There are no hook ups and guests will need to pack in what they pack out, leaving no trace behind.

Listen to the birds and frogs as they serenade you to sleep, and if you make it until dark, you might even get to see our amazing fireflies put on a show for you!
- Meet with host upon arrival
- Cooking equipment present: Bbq, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, sink or other dishwashing station. Basic cooking utensils for BBQ, camping dishes, a kettle, a small french press, a small cast iron and larger frying pan and one pot. Also comes with large bowl for washing dishes, a dish scrubbie and dish soap.
- Please bring your own bedding as we are off grid and have limited laundry facilities.
