September is a great time to camp at Herman Lake. The air is fresh and clean, the mosquitoes are gone, and the nightly chorus of crickets will lull you to sleep. Recent rain has turned everything lush and green again, while the first hints of fall colours have arrived. The aspen leaves will soon be brilliant gold.
