Wood-fired Sauna and Cold Plunge
Relax and detox in a stunning natural setting. Accommodates up to 10 people. Gorgeous lake view, with cold plunge tub right outside.
Minimum $100 or $35 per person; lower rates for >6 people (max 10)

Wood-Fired Pizza
Choose one of our special recipes; cheese, margherita, ham and pineapple or pepperoni pizza. Home-made pizza dough, sauce and fresh basil from our garden.
Saturday evenings, $12-15
Bee Hive Tour and Honey sampling experience
Come take a tour inside our beehives and learn all about bees. You can put on a bee suit and get right in there if you wish! Also try a honey sample fresh from the hive.
30-45 min tour available on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. $25

Watercraft Rentals
The best way to explore serene Herman Lake is from the water. Add a rental to your campsite reservation or ‘after the fact’ below. For registered campers only.
2-hour rentals:
Paddleboard $10
Paddle Boat (up to 2 adults + 2 kids) $25
2-Person Canoe $10
Life jackets must be worn at all times.
You are welcome to bring your own non-motorized craft and launch from the public dock.
Sheep Snuggles
Come hang out with our sheep family, including adorable lambs every spring! They are very soft and friendly and would love to meet you and your family.
Forest Trails
Meander through our forest trails with lake views, starting from the west side of the campground. Wide paths with a mix of flat terrain and hills.
You can also take the shortcut path to the public dock. Walk back towards Bastion-Ivy Rd and look for the “DOCK” arrow sign on your left just past the lake. After exiting the path, continue straight ahead about 100m until you see the Recreation Site sign on your left.

We’ll be offering a selection of fresh garden produce, wild berries, preserves, arts & crafts, breads, soaps and candles from the Herman Homestead and partnering community producers.

NOTE: If you are planning to reserve a campsite stay with us, you can select Sauna, Beehive Tour, and Watercraft Rentals as ‘extras’ when booking via Hipcamp, and you don’t need this form. But if you are a day visitor, or a camper who didn’t include the extras when booking, this form is for you.
We will send you details for cash or e-transfer payment once your booking is confirmed.
